What participants receive

We issue two different kinds of documents. It is worth knowing the difference before you plan a course.

For work in Ukraine

  • Required to work as a deminer in Ukraine
  • Valid throughout Ukraine
  • Issued after the full course and qualification exam
For your organisation

Institutional training documentation

Every institutional participant receives detailed documentation of the training they completed. Your organisation can use it for its own accreditation and personnel records.

  • Instructor sign-off and course report for the client

Why train in Ukraine

Ukraine is today one of the most heavily contaminated countries in the world. Training here means learning from the people who clear it every day.

Current threats

Practical work with the types of explosive ordnance found in contemporary conflict, including items rarely covered by standard courses.

Operational instructors

Our instructors combine teaching with active mine action work in Ukraine.

Real mine action context

Exposure to how humanitarian mine action is organised in Ukraine now: tasking, survey, clearance, quality control.

Equipment in current use

Training with detection equipment, PPE and tools used in ongoing operations.

Practical infrastructure

Classrooms, an indoor training area and an outdoor training ground, all in Kyiv.

Direct exchange

Time with Ukrainian practitioners to share lessons learned, beyond the course itself.

Who will train your team

Courses are led by English-speaking instructors with operational mine action and EOD backgrounds.

Questions from international clients

Is it safe to bring a team to Kyiv?

We plan every course around the security situation. Participants stay in a hotel with a bomb shelter, receive a security briefing on arrival, and all training sites have shelter access. Add your air-raid procedure in one sentence.

Can the course be fully in English?

Yes. Institutional programmes are delivered by English-speaking instructors. Training materials and documentation are provided in English.

Is the Ukrainian state certificate recognised in my country?

The state certificate confirms qualification for work in Ukraine. For use abroad, we provide detailed training documentation listing hours, competencies and results, which your organisation can use in its own accreditation process.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend 6–8 weeks for a closed group, to agree the programme, arrange logistics and prepare materials.

Do you help with travel to Ukraine?

We can arrange transfer from the border to Kyiv, accommodation and meals. We will advise on entry requirements, but visas and travel insurance remain the participants' responsibility.

Request an institutional training proposal

Tell us about your team and what they need. We will reply with a draft programme, dates and a quotation.
